The case is built from grade 2 titanium with a matte brush finish that reminds the wearer of the Skywalker’s status as a high-end tool watch. The watch features a scratch-resistant brushed blue ceramic bezel mounted on a black dial. The X-33 Skywalker includes a patented complication designed by ESA astronaut Jean-François Clervoy to measure the mission elapsed time (MET), as well as the phase elapsed time (PET). The watch also features chronograph and countdown complications, up-to three different time zones, three alarms, and a perpetual calendar. <p> This model is powered by OMEGA’s calibre 5619, a Swiss quartz chronograph movement with a highly accurate thermo-compensated integrated circuit. The titanium outer caseback is stamped with the Solar Impulse “Around the World” patch and engraved with the words “TESTED AND QUALIFIED BY ESA”. This Limited-Edition model is presented on a beautiful NATO strap with its titanium keepers and buckle. The X-33 Skywalker Solar Impulse watch comes in a large matte black presentation box, with green accents, and a Solar Impulse badge emblazoned on the insert opposite the watch. Limited to 1,923 pieces, this highly sought-after timepiece continues OMEGA’s story of pushing the boundaries of space exploration.
